Job Summary
Direct Support Lead within REM Community Services (Sevita) in Green Bay, WI, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP), participate in staffing, hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision of a team of Caregivers. Provide direct support such as meal planning, medication administration, personal care, and transportation; split duties between direct-support activities, professional/program activities, and supervision. Promote community involvement through outings and transportation to work or activities. This role offers full, part-time, and as-needed schedules with opportunities to gain supervisory experience while making a difference in the lives of those served.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year related work experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance
- DL at least 1 year (post permit) and a clean MVR record meeting Sevita's insurability policy
- Other licensure or certification where required by regulatory authority
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities to ensure staffing and schedules are maintained
