Job Summary
Provide daily support and oversight for clients living with disabilities and mental health illnesses in the Intensive Residential Support Home, assisting with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and community involvement. Administer medications safely and document all activities, incident reports, and service data before ending shifts. Treat clients with dignity while ensuring their health, safety, and well-being, including implementing behavior intervention plans and reporting any abuse or unsafe conditions immediately. Accompany clients to appointments and transport them for errands as needed. Complete all required trainings and orientations within specified periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license
- At least one year of experience working with individuals with a mental illness or multiple-occurring conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Medication manager or certified medication aide preferred
- Experience supporting individuals who experience problem behaviors is preferred
