Job Summary
Direct Support Certified Medication Technician administers medications as ordered under nursing supervision; accurately prepare, document, and dispense oral/topical medications; verify orders; manage medication stock and narcotics records; provide medical transportation to appointments; coordinate paperwork with physicians, schedule appointments, obtain medications from pharmacy, distribute to residences, review inventory, and perform DSP duties as needed; requires adherence to facility policies and nursing standards; requires 21+ and Kentucky CMT certification, with at least one year of healthcare experience; physical demands include heavy lifting and driving responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Active Kentucky Certified Medication Technician
- 21 years of age or older
- minimum of one year of positive performance in healthcare
- Travel with driving record that meets Sevita standards
