Job Summary
THRIVE AS A CAREGIVER AT SEVITA. Provide compassionate, patient, and reliable direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them grow, learn, and live well. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, supporting participants with developmental goals, and promoting participation in community activities. Weekend shifts (Thu-Fri-Sun 2p-10p) and part-time schedule. You’ll develop real relationships, exercise initiative, and contribute to a stable team in a mission-driven organization. Education requirement is High School Diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license and insurance are required. Pay is $17 hourly with full-time benefits available for eligible employees.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health preferred
- Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
- Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
- Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
