Job Summary
Conduct daily direct support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them grow, learn, and live well through meaningful relationships. Assist participants with developmental goals including budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, while supporting personal hygiene and managing behavioral challenges. Take initiative to help individuals integrate into the community and enjoy favorite activities. Maintain a valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle registration for travel. Work Monday through Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with every other Saturday and Sunday shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Join a mission-driven team at REM Community Services, a Sevita provider serving 50,000 individuals across the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- Driver's License for at least one year (post-permit)
- clean Motor Vehicle Registration record that meets Sevita's insurability policy
- Valid Driver's license
- access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination
