Job Summary
Assist with the development of daily living skills and life activities by creating an environment where people can learn, grow, and discover. Help individuals identify and achieve personal goals while monitoring their comfort, safety, and medical, nutritional, and personal care needs. Demonstrate emotional support while assisting with general housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry duties. This role requires frequent physical activity including extended standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Starting wage is $20.16 with daily pay available. No experience needed; we provide thorough training.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid U.S. driver's license required, where applicable
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to safely transfer 50 pounds
- Ability to frequently reach between knee and shoulder level
- Ability to frequently reach below knee level
- Ability to reach overhead
- Ability to perform occasional independent lifting up to 25 pounds
- Ability to perform frequent push/pull up to 40 pounds of force
- Ability to work with extended periods of standing
- Ability to work with extended periods of walking
- Ability to work with occasional periods of sitting
- Ability to work with occasional periods of kneeling
- Ability to work with occasional periods of climbing
- Ability to work with occasional periods of stooping
- Ability to work with occasional periods of crouching
- Ability to work with occasional periods of squatting
- Ability to work with occasional periods of balancing
