Direct Support Aide

Assist people we serve to achieve personal goals by overcoming barriers and respecting their beliefs. Maintain a safe environment and promote health by following Individual Service Plans, administering First Aid/CPR, and recording health events. Support clients with personal care tasks like eating, grooming, bathing, and toileting, while assisting with mobility using adaptive equipment. Teach living skills such as cooking, money management, and household shopping to foster independence and community integration. Serve as a role model and mentor, demonstrating desired behaviors and using approved physical intervention techniques when necessary. Maintain program and home cleanliness through housekeeping duties and follow policies for handling money.
