Job Summary
Locate best sources and negotiate pricing for local parts to achieve quality, delivery, and cost goals. Manage supplier performance development, initiate administrative requirements like loading quotations, and execute RFQs while generating sourcing reports. Take ownership of sourcing master data updates, prepare supplier contracts, and review commercial terms for alignment with Epiroc standards. Collaborate with sourcing contacts to secure compliance with global requirements and corporate governance standards, including environmental and ethical criteria. Assist in risk management activities related to supplier capability and market volatility. Work across Southeast Asia regions including Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Laos, requiring occasional travel. Fluent in English with strong analytical and negotiation skills to support business operations and drive operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
- Proven experience in handling supplier communications, quotation evaluations, contract administration, and purchase order/contract management
- Awareness of Integrated Management Systems (IMS), including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, supplier management, and commercial contract administration
- Demonstrated ability to support and coordinate procurement activities across the SEA region, considering local business practices, regulatory requirements, and supplier markets in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Laos
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably M3, SAP, or equivalent platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) with the ability to prepare analyses, reports, dashboards, and presentations
- Strong analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills, with the ability to objectively evaluate supplier proposals and identify cost optimization opportunities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of effectively collaborating with regional and local teams, suppliers, and external partners across multiple countries
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy, compliance, governance, and process discipline
- Proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic regional environment
- Demonstrates integrity and commitment to Epiroc's Code of Conduct, ethical business practices, and sustainability principles
- Strong customer service mindset, teamwork orientation, and a continuous improvement approach
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the SEA region
- Willing and able to work closely with stakeholders across the Southeast Asia (SEA) region and accommodate regional business needs, including occasional travel when required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in managing procurement activities across multiple countries or regions is highly preferred
- Exposure to supporting business operations within the Southeast Asia (SEA) region, including Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Laos, will be an advantage
