Direct Sourcing Lead – Category Manager

Job Summary
Create, update, and maintain global sourcing strategy for 1-3 categories in the Single Use Technologies Business Unit. Support site buyers and quality teams with supplier escalations, then negotiate pricing and contract language with key local and global suppliers. Drive cost reduction targets through negotiation and cross-functional project collaboration while advancing sustainability by selecting suppliers that champion environmental goals. This on-site role in Duncan, SC reports to the Director of Strategic Sourcing and requires a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years in supply chain or procurement. You will travel to the USA and Europe 1-2 times per quarter.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in technical or business
- 3+ years' experience in supply chain or procurement role
- Experience developing/maintaining global sourcing strategies
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence and communicate at all levels of organization
- Proven experience in tactical procurement including negotiating pricing/contracts and supplier relationship management
- Ability to travel in USA and Europe 1-2 times per quarter
