Job Summary
Direct Service Worker (DSW) employed by an agency to perform personal care services. Tasks include providing personal care per ISP, assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, exercising, toileting, positioning, assisting with self-administered medications, transfer or ambulation, and reporting changes in client condition to a supervisor. Additional duties include providing direct care at the assigned time/place, reporting changes promptly, following emergency medical training, and reporting any emergencies or suspected abuse/neglect to supervisor per provider policies.
