Job Summary
Direct Service Professional responsible for creating a learning environment for adults with developmental disabilities, designing instruction based on measurable objectives, maintaining client progress records, and coordinating individualized service delivery. May travel to clients’ homes, community sites, or workplaces to provide a range of services including paid/volunteer work instruction, employment placement and support, mobility training, sensory activities, social and recreational activities, academic support, behavior plans, and advocacy. Collaborates with families, care providers, and case managers to implement each client’s program plan and ensure safety and inclusivity; requires flexibility to accommodate early morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend hours; relies on person-centered approaches and strong communication skills. Valid California driver’s license and insurability may be required for agency travel.
