Job Summary
Conduct company installs from leads in customer homes, completing installation and training customers on ClearCaptions phone features and benefits. Generate referrals and build relationships with hearing care providers, retirement communities, and local senior organizations through events and education activities. Maintain adequate inventory, manage customer records in Salesforce, and actively participate in local senior citizen events and trade shows. Travel extensively by car and air within the assigned region to service customers, healthcare providers, and event sites.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Outside sales experience, Business to Business and/or Business to Consumer
- Valid driver's license
- Personal automobile
- Ability to travel extensively by car in the assigned region and by air on occasion
- Work from a local home office equipped with high-speed Internet
- Proficient computer skills and basic use of the internet
- Comfortable working with seniors and disabled persons
- Willing and available to work flexible hours including weekends
- Excellent people and relationship building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff
- Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality
- Proficient in MS Office
- Proficient in modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams)
- Ability to communicate over the phone and in person effectively and clearly with individuals suffering from hearing loss
- Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without a current or future need for Visa sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Sales experience or other work with seniors preferred
- Experience working in the hearing health field beneficial
