Job Summary
Conduct residential door-to-door canvassing, targeting over 800 homes monthly to promote and sell Dobson Fiber products to single-family and multi-unit customers. Represent the company at community and property management sales events while performing proactive consultative needs analyses and developing tailored sales presentations. Effectively communicate competitive advantages, acquire new clients through assigned leads, and independently execute turf management plans. Accurately complete all sales paperwork, including dispositioning and order entry, while supporting team goals through active participation in meetings and training. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors' pricing and tactics to inform management of market changes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivator with a knack for working independently
- Proficient computer and technical skills
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Valid driver license
- Car insurance
- Satisfactory driving record
- Ability to walk and/or travel door-to-door for considerable distances in all types of weather conditions
- Ability to work full time
- Willingness to work outside in various weather conditions
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
- Ability to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
- Familiarity with computer operating systems and software applications
- Familiarity with consumer and commercial communication devices (e.g., PDAs, smartphones, routers, modems, set-top converters, and wireless devices)
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
