Job Summary
Conduct residential door-to-door canvassing to visit approximately 800 homes monthly and acquire new customers in the Elk City area. Represent Dobson Fiber at community and multi-family property sales events while executing independent turf management plans. Perform consultative needs analysis, present proposals, and accurately complete all sales paperwork including order entry and reporting. Maintain thorough knowledge of product features, competitive pricing, and sales tactics to maximize territory performance. Work full-time with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, utilizing a reliable vehicle to travel considerable distances in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivator with a knack for working independently
- Proficient computer and technical skills
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Valid driver license
- Car insurance
- Satisfactory driving record
- Ability to walk and/or travel door-to-door for considerable distances in all types of weather conditions
- Ability to work full time
- Willingness to work outside in various weather conditions
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
- Ability to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
- Familiarity with computer operating systems and software applications
- Familiarity with consumer and commercial communication devices (e.g., PDAs, smartphones, routers, modems, set-top converters, and wireless devices)
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
