Job Summary
Oversee procurement activities for direct materials, parts, components, and equipment while managing purchasing goals and metrics. Develop and guide the team on purchasing policies, procedures, and strategies to ensure value and maximum business impact. Drive inventory turnover improvement, optimize stock levels, and maintain 100% supplier on-time delivery. Supervise supply chain operations to ensure continuous timely supply, manage materials shortages, and streamline order fulfillment. Create customized reporting using Microsoft Excel for top management and address day-to-day operational issues and staff escalations. Support corporate excess materials programs and review controls to reduce exposures on End of Life Projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Fluent English
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in the purchasing/procurement area
- Supplier management and vendor communication
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
