Job Summary
Direct Procurement Team Lead to oversee a team of 3 category leaders and a vendor scheduler, lead global procurement negotiations and contract management, drive NPI transitions from prototyping to mass production, and manage order execution, supplier escalations, and cross-functional projects across R&D, quality, operations, finance, and legal. Requires 6+ years of procurement experience in high-tech, automotive, or contract manufacturing, proven people management, experience with NPI-to-volume transitions, strong contract negotiation and supplier management skills, a Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or equivalent, and fluent English.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of procurement experience in high-tech, automotive, or contract manufacturing
- Proven people management experience
- Experience with NPI to high volume manufacturing procurement transitions
- BSc in industrial engineering or equivalent
- Background in industries with high interface and system complexity (defense, medical devices, automotive electronics) — strong advantage
- Strong contract negotiation and supplier commercial management skills
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional processes end-to-end
- Fluent English
