Direct Procurement Deployment Lead - German Markets (SAP)

Job Summary
Develop and execute deployment plans for SAP S/4HANA direct procurement processes, translating global designs into site-level configurations. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful rollouts of Req-to-PO and Procure-to-Pay workflows while managing risks and blockers. Act as the functional lead for SAP MM/PP, overseeing UAT, defect resolution, and legacy system transitions to maintain data integrity. Bridge business requirements with SAP functionality, ensuring quality delivery and system readiness for go-live. Lead training initiatives and serve as the central contact for Direct Procurement topics within the global transformation program. Fluent in German required for this remote contract role through 2026, with occasional travel to headquarters.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Direct Procurement / Material Management
- Fluency in German (speaking/written)
- Proven experience in SAP implementations, preferably S/4HANA
- Strong expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes for direct materials
- Hands-on experience with SAP MM/PP modules
- Proven experience in Signavio process mapping and process improvement initiatives
- Experience in managing testing cycles and defect resolution (Jira, ServiceNow, ALM tools)
- Exposure to global rollouts and complex organizational environments
- Must be available for occasional travel up to 15% to the Client's headquarters
- Must work the Client's preferred CET timezone
