Job Summary
Direct Loan Originator responsible for consulting and selling Triad-approved mortgage applications to borrowers and retailers, developing relationships with borrowers and retailers during the home buying process, serving as the main point of contact for advising borrowers and sellers, coordinating appraisals and conditions, managing loan pipeline to closing, understanding Triad products/guidelines/process, staying updated on market conditions, coordinating with other departments to optimize sales, and meeting or exceeding pull-through goals. Requires 1-3 years of retail mortgage knowledge, strong problem-solving and communication skills, team collaboration, attention to detail, customer service excellence, proficiency with Microsoft Office and mortgage software, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and completion of licensing and continuing education requirements.

- One to three years of retail mortgage loan knowledge/experience required
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well within a team atmosphere
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and mortgage software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to set goals and divide processes into timelines
- Completing and passing all Continuing Education requirement (annually)
- Credit check required - credit must meet State licensing guidelines and eligibility
- 20-hour SAFE Act course*
- Individual state loan originator license(s) required for specific states in which employee engages in any mortgage loan originator activities*
