Job Summary
Sales Representative for Costco in Gaithersburg, MD responsible for promoting/representing nutritional supplements at in-store demonstrations. Duties include engaging members, presenting product benefits, delivering excellent customer service, complying with scheduled demo shifts (10:00 AM–5:30 PM with weekends busiest), and working independently at each location. Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and handle equipment/tables for product demonstrations; compensation starts at $22–$25 per hour plus commission, with W-2 employment and bi-weekly pay. Training provided; average ambassadors earn $200–$300 per day, with top earners $500+ per day.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with direct sales
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Email and basic computer / mobile device skills
- Ability to stand for 7 hours
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Ability to lift and carry tables and products as part of demonstrations
