Job Summary
Join an innovative child welfare organization as a Direct Care / Youth Care Worker, providing therapeutic support and supervision to at-risk male youth in a licensed group home. Responsibilities include nurturing care, crisis intervention, and life skills training.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 12 months experience working with children aged 8-17
- Valid Florida driver’s license
- Current First Aid / CPR certifications
- Ability to pass background screening
- 1+ years of experience serving at-risk children & youth
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in human services related field
- 2+ years experience in a residential setting
- Team-oriented
- Ability to plan and coordinate activities (social, recreational, and educational)
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess reliable transportation and proof of required insurance
