Job Summary
The Direct Care / Youth Care Worker provides supervision and therapeutic support to vulnerable male youth in a group home, requiring a high school diploma and experience in similar settings.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children 8-17
- Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license
- Current First Aid / CPR certifications
- Able to pass a 7-point DCF background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in human services related field
- 2 years of experience in residential setting
- 1+ years of experience serving at-risk children & youth
- Basic understanding of trauma and mental health issues
- Team-oriented
- Ability to prepare meals
- Ability to plan and coordinate activities
