Job Summary
Conduct treatment interventions in one-to-one or small group settings for youth requiring specialty services or crisis interventions. Provide essential needs including meals, clothing, hygiene, and bedroom assignments while developing positive rapport and modeling a safe environment. Manage intake, property inventory, and paperwork upon arrival; coordinate special events, educational activities, and medical appointments. Observe, report, and document behavior patterns using tools like nightwatch checklists and incident reports. Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free facility by supervising youth and ensuring proper care in common areas. Requires flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Flexible schedule (evening, weekends, holidays)
- Cleared background checks from appropriate entities
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Eligible to drive to facilitate program services
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 pounds frequently
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds infrequently
- Must be able to perform tasks that may involve standing or walking 50% of the day
- Must be able to perform tasks that may involve sitting 50% of the day
- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach and grasp as necessary
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or an equivalent degree
- Associates or Bachelor's degree
- At least two years experience in residential programming
