Job Summary
Direct Care Worker (Direct Support Professional) at LSS in a residential group home setting supporting up to 4 people. Responsibilities include building meaningful relationships, assisting with daily living activities (personal care, hygiene, meals, household tasks, transportation), supporting community involvement and independent living skills, advocating for individuals’ rights and preferences, monitoring health and well-being, and documenting care; participate in training and team meetings. Requires a valid driver’s license, ability to read/write in English, and ability to pass a DHS background check. No prior experience or formal education required; comprehensive training provided. Pay is $16.00/hour with a $2,500 hiring bonus; full-time role with opportunities for growth.
