Job Summary
Provide care in a safe, clean living environment for program residents while preparing meals and participating in individual and group activities. Enforce daily routines by maintaining accurate reports and checklists. Support residents with medical and educational needs while managing behavioral issues positively. Build professional, encouraging relationships with residents and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of HS Diploma or GED
- Successful completion of Safety Crisis Management (SCM) training including written test and physical restraints competency
- Completion of all required SCM refreshers for continued employment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior exposure to working with an adolescent population
- Experience in child welfare
- Excellent references
