Job Summary
Provide care and maintain a safe, clean living environment for residents, including meal preparation and participation in activity programming. Responsibilities include enforcing daily routines, supporting residents' medical and educational needs, confronting negative behavior, and fostering positive relationships with residents and staff. Successful completion of SCM training, a high school diploma or GED, and excellent references are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of HS Diploma or GED
- Successful completion of safety Crisis Management (SCM) training and refreshers
- Must be able to provide excellent references
Desired Qualifications
- Prior exposure to working with an adolescent population
- Experience in child welfare
