Job Summary
As a Direct Care Worker in the PRTF and DDS CLA Programs, you will supervise daily routines and support the emotional and behavioral development of youth, providing trauma-informed care within a structured environment. You’ll engage with treatment teams and families, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in human services or direct care preferred
- Ability to understand the challenges of individuals served, assess needs, and resolve conflicts effectively
- Strong ability to maintain safety, discipline, and structure
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and flexibility in working with youth with diverse needs
Desired Qualifications
- BA/BS in Human Services preferred; may be required for some programs
- Knowledge of direct care, teaching methods, and behavioral support strategies
