Job Summary
Provide light housekeeping, run errands, and prepare meals for clients who cannot care for themselves due to illness or disability. Assist with personal services including toileting, bathing, and grooming while accompanying them to appointments and managing medications. Offer companionship through conversation and stimulate individuals with patience and respect. Help with financial tasks such as balancing checkbooks or visiting the bank if needed. Maintain dignity and compassion throughout all interactions. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods. Rate $13-16/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
- Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
