Job Summary
Link members with collaborative employers to achieve competitive employment goals while assisting with benefits counseling and navigating disclosure of psychiatric status. Deliver individualized job coaching and ongoing follow-along supports, developing an individual employment or education plan for each member. Maintain accurate documentation by returning calls promptly, updating participant records with the Program Director, and submitting monthly reports to DVR counselors. Conduct proactive outreach to re-engage disengaged members and build relationships with local employers and community partners. Transport members as needed using a personal vehicle that meets safety requirements and provide supported education services for academic pursuits. Work 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, with 65% of time spent at member job sites.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Open availability to accommodate member schedules
- Valid Colorado driver's license or the ability to obtain one with a clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to transport clients in personal vehicle
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must pass a drug screen
- Subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident testing
- Must complete a health evaluation or physical examination prior to beginning service
- Must complete annual health evaluations thereafter
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Safety Care certification
- Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) credential
- CPR and First Aid certification
