Job Summary
Support older adults and individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities by assisting with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, grooming, and light housekeeping. Monitor medical, nutritional, and personal care needs to ensure well-being while guiding clients toward their own goals and milestones. Provide emotional companionship and clear, timely updates regarding supported individuals' needs, maintaining punctuality and reliability throughout visits. Coordinate home-based support within the comfort of clients' residences, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels seen and valued.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must meet all Arizona state provider requirements
- Must have a comprehensive background check
- Must have Class 1 Fingerprint Clearance
- Must be able to complete all state-mandated training courses
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to be punctual and dependable
- Ability to provide clear, timely updates
- Ability to stay in close contact regarding people supported needs
- Ability to confidently ask questions to ensure providing the best possible support
- Deeply committed to treating every person with the respect they deserve
