Job Summary
Support older adults and people with disabilities by defining their personal goals, providing emotional companionship, and assisting with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, grooming, and light housekeeping. Monitor medical, nutritional, and personal care needs to ensure well-being while maintaining punctuality and clear communication regarding client requirements. Coordinate visits based on availability and specific client needs within a flexible 1099 contract structure. Compensation is based on location, and you must complete state-mandated training and background checks. This role allows you to build an independent schedule that fits your lifestyle while directly impacting community members' quality of life in their own homes.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must meet all Arizona state provider requirements
- Must have a comprehensive background check
- Must have Class 1 Fingerprint Clearance
- Must be able to complete all state-mandated training courses
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to be punctual and dependable
- Ability to provide clear, timely updates
- Ability to stay in close contact regarding people supported needs
- Ability to confidently ask questions to ensure providing the best possible support
