Job Summary
Direct Care Support Worker providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining positive relationships with residents, assisting with daily living activities (meal preparation, personal hygiene, household chores), collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans, facilitating group activities and social events, helping residents develop independent living skills (budgeting, transportation, job readiness), documenting progress and behaviors, reporting concerns, fostering a culturally inclusive environment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards of care. Hours include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour with potential incentives/bonuses for rates above base.
