Job Summary
Direct Care Staff at REM Community Services (Sevita) provides community-based supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting participants with personal hygiene, supporting participants in achieving developmental goals (such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition), helping them participate in community activities, and developing real, meaningful relationships while maintaining safety and compassion. The role requires strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management, and reliability. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle with insurance are required. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Schedule includes night shift hours (11p-9a) with pay at $15/hr and benefits for eligible employees.
