Direct Care Staff - New Hartford

Provide direct services to program clients in a community-based group home setting, supporting activities of daily living and monitoring self-administered medication. Establish open communication and accountability among co-workers while advocating for individuals within various community settings to optimize their independence, rehabilitation, and recovery. Develop professional relationships with clients using a person-centered focus for informal counseling and guidance. Work within a team-based model providing 24/7 on-site staffing for individuals with chronic psychiatric conditions and substance abuse histories. Shifts include 1st (6am-2pm) or 3rd (10pm-6am) rotations; pay is $20/hr with comprehensive health and dental benefits.
