Job Summary
Direct Care Staff are responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive environment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring compliance with Individual Services Plans and Behavioral Plans. Responsibilities include effective communication, judgment, and the ability to manage emergency situations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Possession of Certified Nursing Assistant certificate or equivalent
- ASL Certification or extensive experience working with non-verbal Residents
- Experience in the human services field
- Possession of valid driver’s license
- Possession of safety training in CPR, First aid, and other safety measures within sixty days of employment
Additional Requirements
- Subject to a criminal background check
- Subject to post offer physical, TB screening, and drug testing
