Direct Care Staff AM-6:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. - St. PJ's Children's Home

Direct Care Staff responsible for daily care and supervision of children in the emergency shelter; establish a nurturing, therapeutic and safe environment; create consistent daily routines; provide continuous supervision; plan and execute age-appropriate activities; maintain cleanliness and supplies; assist with clothing, grooming, and basic needs; recognize illness signs, administer medications as prescribed, and seek guidance when needed; maintain documentation (serious incident, daily logs, accident reports, restraint reports); transport children when necessary; build trusting relationships with children and provide supportive guidance; engage with parents, caseworkers, teachers, and other team members; participate in quality assurance activities and ensure completion of mandatory trainings; comply with Therapeutic Intervention Plan (TIP) and organizational policies; this is a grant-funded position with ongoing funding dependent on availability.
