Job Summary
Provide direct supervision and assist with daily activity schedules for adolescents in a residential crisis treatment setting. Manage behaviors, de-escalate crisis situations, and implement treatment plans while delivering personal care, medication management, and social skills development. Document progress in daily, weekly, and monthly logs and attend clinical supervision meetings. Plan and lead enrichment activities including arts, athletics, and community outings. Must be 21+, hold a valid Arizona driver's license, and possess six weeks of behavioral health experience or a bachelor's degree in a related field. Full-time and part-time/on-call schedules available with weekend work required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School diploma or GED
- Six (6) weeks of behavioral health work experience
- Bachelor's degree in the areas of psychology, sociology, social work, education or other related field
- 12 years of related experience
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Pass DMV 36-month history check
- Drug test within 24 hours of offer with negative results
- Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment
- Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions
- Ability to work weekends
- Attend mandatory New Hire Orientation Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Previous experience working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional and behavioral disorders, complex post-traumatic stress disorder, co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders
