Job Summary
Direct Care Professionals provide support to adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting, assisting with daily activities and maintaining a structured routine. Responsibilities include meal preparation, assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, attending medical appointments, medication distribution, and coordinating individual community outings. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient care, and teamwork within a supportive environment; on-the-job paid training and career development opportunities are available. A TB screening/physical, background check, driving record review, and valid driver’s license are required. Openings on multiple shifts (including evenings) in the MA communities served.
Required Qualifications
- TB screening and physical required upon hire
- TB update every two years after
- Criminal background check and driving record
- Valid driver’s license; use of personal vehicle
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
