Job Summary
Direct Care Professional supports adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program, providing assistance with daily activities and maintaining a structured routine. Responsibilities include individual community outings, meal preparation, activities of daily living, personal care, medical appointments, and medication distribution. On-the-job paid training is provided, with opportunities for professional development and a comprehensive benefits package. Openings on evening shifts across Fall River, Mansfield, Taunton, and surrounding areas; part-time, full-time, and relief/per diem positions available. Requires compassion and a desire to make a difference; driver’s license and background check required. The role involves working as part of a team to support individuals in a community-focused environment and may include participation in outings and activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- A qualifying criminal background check and driving record
- Valid driver’s license; Use of your personal vehicle.
- TB screening and Physical is required upon hire and a TB update every two years after
