Job Summary
Support adults with development disabilities in a residential program by assisting with activities of daily living, personal care, meal preparation, and medication distribution. Facilitate individual community outings such as movies, shopping, and dining to help individuals integrate into the community. Ensure a structured routine while providing assistance with medical appointments and daily tasks. This role offers ongoing free on-the-job training, professional development, and tuition assistance for CNA, PCA, and HHA certifications. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, pass a criminal background check, and complete a TB screening.
Required Qualifications
- A qualifying criminal background check and driving record
- Valid driver's license
- Use of your personal vehicle
- A TB screening and Physical
- TB update every two years after
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Interest in CNA, PCA and HHA type work
- Students in Human Services, Psychology, and Sociology programs
