Job Summary
Support participants with developmental goals including budgeting, exercise, and nutrition while assisting with personal hygiene and managing behavioral challenges. Develop meaningful relationships with individuals you serve and take initiative to help them engage in community activities. Provide direct care for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring they live well and grow independently. This role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and at least six months of experience in intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health. You must be patient, compassionate, and reliable. Weekend shifts are scheduled from 12p-8p on Thursdays and Fridays with every other weekend.
Required Qualifications
- Drivers License for at least 1 year (post permit)
- Clean driving record that meets Sevita's insurability policy
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in Intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health
- Valid Driver's license
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- Minimum 18yrs of age
