Job Summary
Direct Care Professional IS35 provides compassionate in-home support to adults with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include implementing individualized programs per ISPs, ensuring health and welfare, administering and documenting medications, assisting with activities of daily living and housekeeping, and coordinating community outings (e.g., movies, shopping, dining, events). The role emphasizes safety, positive rapport with individuals and local resource engagement, with opportunities for tuition reimbursement and comprehensive benefits. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), background check and driving record clearance, and a valid driver’s license. Training and support are provided through the agency’s Individual Support program.
