Job Summary
Conduct Bible studies, lead prayer, and disciple adolescent girls students within the THRIVE program while ministering during scheduled sessions and as opportunities arise. Engage in religious instruction, evangelistic outreach, and campus chapel events as required. Supervise, mentor, and interact with residents during school, work, free time, and recreational activities, administering discipline according to THRIVE policies. Provide and communicate vision for all campus aspects, ensuring compliance with Texas DFPS regulations and Teen Challenge National Accreditation Standards. Support the physical, spiritual, and emotional welfare of students while guiding program staff.
Required Qualifications
- She shall be a person of spiritual maturity
- amiable to the Assemblies of God doctrine
- in full agreement with the ATCOT mission statement
- Complete the Effective Biblical Counseling course or an equivalent course
- Knowledge of Christian discipleship and mentor relationships
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ideally credentialed as a minister or pursuing credentials in the AG or doctrinally similar fellowship
- 30 hours of training in childcare or related field
- Maintain First Aid and CPR certification
- A background check and pastoral reference is required
- A good driving record (have or obtain Texas drivers license)
- She will primarily serve as a minister to adolescent girls students in the THRIVE program
- Conduct Bible studies

- Work with other departments to comply with all Texas DFPS regulations
- Participate in campus events and chapels as required
- Supervision, mentoring, and interacting with residents during various activities, which may include but not limited to school, work periods, free time, and recreational activities
- Administer discipline as is necessary according to THRIVE policies
- Minister to students as opportunity arises and/or during scheduled sessions
- Provide and effectively communicate vision and planning for all aspects of the campus
- Be supportive of the Teen Challenge National Accreditation Standards and fully cooperative with the Teen Challenge National Office
- Be responsible for the physical, spiritual, and emotional welfare and development of the students while on the campus
- Be responsible for the supervision and guidance of the program staff
- Become a mentor to students
- All other duties as assigned by Director
Desired Qualifications
- College degree or work experience equivalence
- At least 1 year full time ministry experience
