Job Summary
Direct Support Professional position in a Day Program supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities through community-based activities, arts, cooking and nutrition, social skills, and self-advocacy. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities and personal care, following behavioral support/treatment plans, implementing an activity curriculum to increase independence, accompanying individuals to community activities, facilitating social/leisure opportunities, effective communication, medication administration documentation per MAP, and teamwork to provide a compassionate, positive experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess and maintain reliable transportation.
- Possess current and valid Driver’s License.
- Must pass a CORI and Fingerprint Background Check.
- Ability to work as a team member.
