Job Summary
Direct Care Counselors act as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team in residential and school programs for children facing severe emotional and behavioral difficulties. Responsibilities include planning and implementing social/recreational activities, ensuring the safety and physical needs of children, supervising them, and applying therapeutic intervention methods. Candidates should possess an Associate Degree or equivalent experience, valid MA driver's license, and previous similar work experience.
