Job Summary
Provide hands-on personal care and mobility assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Responsibilities include supporting daily living skills (cooking, hygiene, routines), administering medications following proper procedures, coordinating and attending medical appointments and community activities, implementing individualized support and behavioral plans, maintaining a clean and safe home environment, providing transportation as needed, and completing documentation and progress reports. Collaborate with team members, families, and care providers; act as a positive, consistent role model; assist with goal attainment to help individuals build independence and confidence.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Successful completion of mandated trainings including medication administration
- Criminal History Background Check authorization
- Must be able to perform essential duties with accommodations
- English fluency and ability to read/write and communicate effectively
