Job Summary
Director-level role establishing a formal product and platform strategy function across enterprise data platforms. Lead the definition, governance, and scaling of reusable platform capabilities consumed by multiple products, partnering with Enterprise Platform Teams and Enterprise Architecture to align strategy with enterprise standards and roadmaps. Drive cross-capability strategy, minimize duplication, enable faster product development, and position platforms as reusable, multi-product capabilities. Maintain governance models, platform definition lifecycle, API-based consumption, and cross-team adoption while serving as a trusted advisor on cross-platform strategy and trade-offs. Expected outcomes include a scalable, sustainable product and platform strategy function with alignment between enterprise platforms and product ecosystem, reduced fragmentation, and disciplined platform design and operation.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in platform strategy, product strategy, or enterprise data platforms
- Proven track record of working across product, engineering, and enterprise platform teams
- Strong understanding of: Platform-based product models; Enterprise architecture principles; Cross-team operating models and governance
- Experience with Databricks, Starburst Trino, Immuta (nice to have), Collibra or similar, Dataiku, ThoughtSpot, AWS data ecosystem, Matillion, DBT, Informatica or similar
- Experience establishing platform governance and operating models
- Experience working in global delivery environments
- Leadership characteristics: systems thinker, builder mindset, influencer, execution-oriented, stakeholder management
- Strong capability in asset/benefits management, enterprise data, platform management, product lifecycle, product management leadership
- Preferred Skills listed: ThoughtSpot, Dataiku, ThoughtSpot (Software)
