Job Summary
Develop and continuously improve EHS policies, procedures, and management systems across all facilities while leading compliance efforts for OSHA, EPA, DOT, ANSI, and NFPA regulations. Own the facilities and maintenance function end-to-end, directing Total Productive Maintenance implementation, CMMS administration, preventive maintenance compliance, and capital planning to maximize equipment reliability. Lead and develop EHS and maintenance staff, manage workers' compensation coordination, and ensure all operations align with ITAR requirements and ISO 9001 standards. Must be able to respond to on-site emergencies as needed and work in a manufacturing environment involving machinery, noise, and chemicals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience, ideally in manufacturing, defense, or a similarly regulated industrial environment
- Working knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards, EPA regulations, DOT, ANSI, NFPA, and applicable Georgia state requirements
- Demonstrated experience building or maturing an EHS program, not just maintaining an existing one
- Strong incident investigation, data analysis, and regulatory reporting skills
- Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills; comfortable partnering with Operations, Quality, Legal, HR, and executive leadership
- Must be able to respond to on-site emergencies as needed
- Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the workday
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.
- Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy

Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading or overseeing a facilities/maintenance function, including TPM, CMMS, PM compliance, and OEE improvement, is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with ITAR requirements as they intersect with EHS and facilities operations; a background in a defense manufacturing or export-controlled environment is a strong plus
- Experience supporting ISO 9001 certified quality management systems and audit processes
- CSP, CIH, ASP, or similar EHS professional certification preferred
- Lean Six Sigma, CMRP, or RCM certification a plus
- Experience in firearms, aerospace, automotive, medical device, or other precision manufacturing industries is a plus
