Job Summary

Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and management systems across all facilities while leading compliance efforts for OSHA, EPA, DOT, and ANSI regulations. Own the facilities and maintenance function end-to-end, directing Total Productive Maintenance, CMMS administration, and preventive maintenance to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness. Lead and develop EHS and maintenance staff, manage workers' compensation cases, and coordinate emergency preparedness planning for fire safety and chemical spills. Ensure all practices align with ITAR requirements and ISO 9001 quality management systems, reporting EHS KPIs and audit findings to executive leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience, ideally in manufacturing, defense, or a similarly regulated industrial environment
  • Working knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards, EPA regulations, DOT, ANSI, NFPA, and applicable Georgia state requirements
  • Familiarity with ITAR requirements as they intersect with EHS and facilities operations
  • Experience supporting ISO 9001 certified quality management systems and audit processes
  • Demonstrated experience building or maturing an EHS program, not just maintaining an existing one
  • Strong incident investigation, data analysis, and regulatory reporting skills
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills
  • Must be able to respond to on-site emergencies as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize and work within our Company Values
  • Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience leading or overseeing a facilities/maintenance function, including TPM, CMMS, PM compliance, and OEE improvement, is strongly preferred
  • CSP, CIH, ASP, or similar EHS professional certification preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma, CMRP, or RCM certification a plus
  • Experience in firearms, aerospace, automotive, medical device, or other precision manufacturing industries is a plus
