Job Summary
Dir, Epidemiology Pipeline (TA - Virology) leads scientific oversight for Virology Clinical Trials within RWLP, coordinating with management, business development, and operations to develop and win global opportunities. Provides oversight of study documents (protocols, case report forms, statistical analysis plans, study management plans, interim/final reports), facilitates scientific advisory boards, and produces scientific reports/manuscripts/abstracts/presentations. Maintains knowledge of clinical and epidemiological guidelines, real-world research trends, and regulatory expectations; develops trainings to enhance epidemiologic study design familiarity. Drives capacity-building, process improvements, and technology-enabled solutions; collaborates across the organization to develop business opportunities in post-marketing safety commitments and risk management; develops abstracts and podium presentations to promote company services. Requires SME in Virology Clinical Trials and advanced degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; proficient in statistical programming (SAS, R, Python); strong communication and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- SME in Virology Clinical Trials
- Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health (Masters preferred, Doctorate acceptable)
- Experience with a variety of study designs; familiarity with post-marketing and late phase study designs preferred
- Basic knowledge of statistical programming languages (SAS, R, Python)
- Excellent written and spoken communication; strong team-oriented skills
- Demonstrated leadership and technical skills
