Job Summary
Dir, Epidemiology Pipeline (TA - Virology) leads scientific oversight and strategic collaboration across RWLP/Company teams, developing and delivering project proposals, study documents (protocols, CRFs, SAPs, study management plans), and scientific materials (abstracts, manuscripts, presentations). Responsible for ensuring timelines, budgets, quality, and customer satisfaction; overseeing study start-up and ongoing study management; developing trainings on epidemiologic designs and guidelines; advancing non-traditional site management methods and RWLP SOPs; contributing to business development and post-marketing safety initiatives; and cultivating relationships with sponsors, thought-leaders, and investigators. Requires SME-level expertise in Virology Clinical Trials, graduate degree in Epidemiology/Statistics/Public Health (Master's preferred, Doctorate optional), knowledge of diverse study designs, familiarity with post-marketing/late-phase designs, basic proficiency in SAS/R/Python, and strong communication and leadership abilities.
Required Qualifications
- SME in Virology Clinical Trials
- Requires graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; Masters; Preferred Doctorate
- Requires in-depth knowledge of a variety of study designs; familiarity with post-marketing and late phase study designs as well as relevant guidelines preferred
- Requires basic knowledge of statistical programming language(s) (e.g., SAS, R, Python)
- Excellent communication, presentation, both written and spoken
- Strong personal communication and team-oriented skills
- Demonstrated leadership and technical skills
